Fall Photo Contest
There’s no place like Chillicothe in the fall; crisp air, colorful trees, cozy vibes, and community fun everywhere you look! We want to see your favorite fall moments in the Home of Sliced Bread. Your photo could be featured in Visit Chillicothe promotions, online, in print, and beyond, plus you could win a prize!
Prizes
Grand Prize: $100 gift card plus a Home of Sliced Bread gift pack and your photo featured on our channels with photo credit.
Second Place: $50 gift card plus a Home of Sliced Bread gift pack and your photo featured on our channels with photo credit.
Third Place: $25 gift card or Chamber Cash plus a Home of Sliced Bread gift pack and your photo featured on our channels with photo credit.
Honorable Mentions: Home of Sliced Bread gift pack and your photo featured on our channels with photo credit.
(All winners will receive photo credit when their images are used for the first time. After this photos will become the intellectual property of the Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau. By entering the contest, you agree to these terms.)
Timeline
- Submissions open: Now through November 8, 2025
- Winners announced: Week of November 10, 2025
- Photos accepted: Email entries to photos@visitchillicothe.com with the subject line “Fall Photo Contest”
Include:
- Your name
- Phone number
- Photo title or description
- Names and approval of any people whose faces are features
- Location where the photo was taken
Contest Guidelines
- Photos must be taken in or around Chillicothe, Missouri.
- Submissions should highlight the beauty, people, or events of our community during the fall season.
- Faces are allowed — but entrants must have written permission from anyone recognizable in the photo.
- Photos may be color or black and white and must be in high-resolution digital format (JPG preferred).
Fine Print (Legal Terms)
By submitting a photo, participants grant the City of Chillicothe / Visit Chillicothe Tourism Department full permission to use the submitted images for promotional and marketing purposes in perpetuity, without further compensation. This includes (but is not limited to) use on websites, social media, print publications, advertisements, and displays.
Entrants affirm that they are the rightful owners of the submitted photos and that their submissions do not infringe on any third-party rights. Participants agree to hold harmless and indemnify the City of Chillicothe, its employees, officers, and representatives from any claims related to the use of submitted materials, including claims of copyright infringement, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
The Chillicothe CVB reserves the right to reject any submission that is deemed inappropriate, incomplete, or inconsistent with the contest theme.
